Headsets

As you can see Bose is a very strong name in the aviation world when it comes to headsets. There are other brands like Telex, and Lightspeed but we find that for the money it’s hard to find a better product than what Bose has to offer.

Bose 324843-3020 A20 Aviation Headset with Bluetooth Dual Plug Cable, Black: The universal standard in professional aviation. You’re personal preference may change over the years but with this headset you’ll have plenty of time to decide. Replacement parts and a top tier customer service department put this headset at the top of the list.

Bose A30 Aviation Headset, Lightweight Comfortable Design, Adjustable ANR and Noise Cancelling [Dual Plug] – Black: The new and improved aviation series from Bose. The A30 headset is designed for “open mic” aircraft or PTT. Bose engineered this headset to have a toolless swappable boom. Meaning you can swap the boom from the left or right ear piece without using tools.

Bose Quiet Comfort 25/35/45: This next recommendation is a less expensive option and a bit lighter however it does require third party hardware from UFlyMike.com. This company is located in Colorado and they offer the HARMONY Aviation Kit that allows you to use your noise cancelling Bose Quiet Comfort Headset in the aircraft. They offer multiple adapters for all aircraft. If you are purchasing for the Guppy you’ll need the 2 Plug style. With a total cost of around $550 more or less plus tax and shipping is the reduced noise cancellation and sound quality worth the price difference? Having noise cancellation on a commute definitely has its pros. Let us know what you think.
